A Permanent home for Hair Matters
This property features a built in, fully functioning salon with three existing booths and the potential to add a fourth. When fully occupied, the salon will generate an estimated $2,400.00/month in booth rental income. The salon will also serve as a “hands-on” train space for regional stylists who wish to learn and deliver Hair Matters’ care in their own communities.

Wig Manufacturing
One of the two barns featured on the property will serve as the future home of our wig manufacturing facility. For six years, we've been collecting hair donations with the intention of making custom wigs with local donors for recipients in their communities. Many of our donors have written personalized notes to the future recipients of their hair sharing their hearts and well wishes. It is our dream to, whenever possible, take a woman's hair before she loses it to treatment and make it into a wig so that she can wear her own hair. We are creating a donation tracker through our website so that donors can see what phase of development their hair is in toward this goal.

Stylist Training in the Hair Matters Method
The upper room of this barn will be a large training classroom for stylists joining our network as well as a training and orientation space for our volunteers. The building sits on an acre of land where we will create a Japanese style "gratitude garden"; a place of peace and respite for those in treatment to rest, reflect and heal.

To occupy this space we need to raise 20% down for the commercial mortgage loan. We are under contract on the property for $449,000. We need roughly 90,000 for the down payment plus an additional 10,000 for closing costs. Once purchased, the projected total income on the property is more than twice what it will cost to operate monthly.
